Champéry is small with Hotel de la Paix being a short walk from all of the shops, the cable car, ski hire and ski school. The buildings are all traditionally Swiss wooden chalets adding to the charm of the area. The high street houses a traditional bakery and cheese shop together with upmarket boutiques and enough bars, cafes and restaurants and nightclubs to keep you amused. There is also a Post Office, mini-market and bank.

The Sports Centre in Champéry houses an indoor swimming pool, sauna and gymnasium. Physiotherapy and beauty treatments are also available at the Sports Centre. A short journey from Champéry will take you to the Thermal Water Park, where you can swim outside in mineral rich natural spring water with an average temperature of 32ºC/93ºF, what an experience! Our staff will advise on the local towns and transport options for any visits out of the resort.

Because of its size you will find Champéry to be a very friendly resort with bar owners and shopkeepers welcoming you in like an old friend.

This is a French speaking resort, although residents are mostly fluent in English and used to English Tourists.

The currency is Swiss Francs (CHF). Credit card payments can be used for Ski Hire, Ski Lessons, Lift Passes and supermarket purchases at the resort.
